专利摘要:
A can body is rolled from a sheet-metal blank (28) and has outer and inner longitudinal edges (12 and 14 respectively) which are welded to one another in an overlapping manner. Extending round the can body transversely to the longitudinal edges (12, 14) are two circumferential scorings (16) which define a tearing strip (18) laterally. The tearing strip (18) is extended by a tongue (20) which is welded onto the outer longitudinal edge (12) and which can be gripped by a key and rolled up. In a welding zone (42) which is adjacent to a starting scoring (30), the tearing strip (18) is stiffened by the welded-on tongue (20) in such a manner that it tears away from the can body reliably along the circumferential scorings (16) during the rolling up of the tongue (20).

a longitudinal seam 3 in areas with lines 6 of weakened strength may have one notch. As a result of the welding of the tin tongue 9, the zone of the longitudinal seam 3 between the lines 6 of weakened strength has an increased rigidity which, when opening the can, provides a break of 10 of the body material in the areas adjacent to the ends of the initial notch, and the direction of the break lines to the lines 6 of the weakened strength due to which, following the tin tongue 15 9, can be removed completely and without difficulty from the tear-off band 8. 3 Cp f-ly, 6 ill.
The invention relates to the canning industry, in particular to the manufacture of cans. 25
The purpose of the invention is to improve on reliability and security when opening a tin can.

and 6 is a graphical depiction of individual operations for the manufacture of a tin can body.
The can contains a case with a bottom 1 and walls 2. Two opposite to the lying edges of the walls 2 are connected,
overlap with the formation of a longitudinal seam 3, which has inner and outer edges 4 and 5, respectively.
On the walls 2 of the case, at least one pair of transverse lines 6 of weakened strength are made 45, separating the head part 7 and serving to form the tear-off belt 8, which has a tin tongue 9 protruding from the outer edge 5 of the longitudinal seam 3. The tin tongue 9 is intended to open cans by removing the tear-off belt 8. The tin tongue 9 is designed as a 55
A single piece with a thickness of 1.5-2.5 wall thickness 2 is welded to the tear-off belt 8 overlapped and placed on both sides of the longitudinal
a seam 3. On a site of a detachable corbel.
8, adjacent to the inner edge 4 of the longitudinal, seam 3, at a distance from the latter, equal to 3-7 thicknesses of the wall 2, an initial incision 10 was made.
It is possible to perform an initial notch 10 protruding beyond the line 6 of weakened strength for a distance of 2-3 wall thicknesses 2.
The tin tongue 9 can be profiled in the weld zone in the form of longitudinal ribs 11 with sharp edges.
The outer edge 5 of the longitudinal seam 3 in areas with lines 6 of weakened strength has one notch 12 each. The bank can be opened with the key 13.
The can body is made of tin sheet, from which, regardless of the cross-section of the finished can, the cylinder is first formed. Pre-punched in the tin sheet at least a couple of lines 6 of weakened strength and the initial incision 10.
For welding the can body, a device with a fixed cantilever 14 is used, on which an internal electrode roller 15 is installed, the side surface of which is slightly wider than the longitudinal seam of the can 3. Opposite the inner electrode roller 15, an outer electrode roller 16 is mounted, mounted on a console 17 mounted for reciprocating movement.

four
The tin sheet from which the can body is formed is placed around the cantilever 14 and passed between the two electrode rollers 15 and 16, with the welded longitudinal joint 3 being in the form of a weld overlap.
A stationary internal electrode 18 is located on the console 14 in the direction of movement of the can body formed behind the inner electrode roller 15 15. An outer electrode 19 is mounted opposite the inner electrode 18 and is fixed with the possibility of reciprocating transfer 15. The electrodes 18 and 19 are used for welding tin tongue 9 to the tear-off belt 8.
The bank is opened as follows - using a key 13, a 20 tin tongue 9 is grasped and, turning the key 13, the tongue 9 is wound onto it. This causes a rupture of the material from which the can is made, in areas adjacent to the ends of the initial 25 incision 10. The rupture lines of the material are directed towards the lines 6 of weakened strength, made on the outer edge 5 of the longitudinal seam 3, then a further open cans by separating detachable corbel 8 according to lines 6 of weakened strength.
As a result of welding of the tin tongue 9, the zone of the longitudinal seam 3 between 35 lines of weakened strength has an increased rigidity, which, when opening the can, provides a break of the body material in the areas adjacent to the ends of the initial 40 notch 10, and the direction of the break lines to the lines of weakened strength 6 , due to which, following the tin tongue 9, it is possible to remove the tear-off belt 8 completely and without any reason. 45 difficulties.
The implementation of the tin tongue 9 with a thickness of 1.5-2.5 greater than the thickness of the walls 2 allows for optimum rigidity in the area of the longitudinal seam 3 between the lines of weakened strength without noticeable difficulty when winding the tin tongue 9. The preferred tongue 9 is made of material $ $
more durable than the material of the walls.
The profiling in the form of longitudinal ribs 11 with sharp edges in the tin tongue 9 in the welding zone contributes to the fact that when welding the tin tongue 9 is firmly connected to the outer longitudinal edge 5 due to the passage of sharp edges of the longitudinal ribs 11 through the oxide layer of the outer longitudinal edge 5 when pressed tin tongue 9 to the last.
Making the initial notch 10 on the section of the detachable belt 8 adjacent to the inner edge 4 of the longitudinal seam 3 at a distance from the latter equal to 3-7 wall thicknesses 2, eliminates the ingress of the initial notch 10 into the welding zone. Performing an initial notch 10 protruding beyond the line 6 of weakened strength by a length 2-3 times greater than the thickness of wall 2 allows you to direct the gap of the material of walls 2 that occurs when winding the tin tongue 9 to the side of lines 6 of weakened strength made on the outer edge 5 of the longitudinal seam 3 As a result, the opening process continues along lines in weakened strength.
The implementation in the outer edge 5 of the longitudinal seam 3 in areas with lines 6 of weakened strength of one notch 12 facilitates the removal of the tear-off belt 8.
The invention allows to ensure reliability and safety when opening a can.
